Yes and yes. The springs I kayak the gators are pretty Used to people and pretty much stay on the Edges of the river. If you see them swimming in the river you just avoid them. They are just as reticent to encounter us as we are to encounter them. But I know all the telltale signs if something is about to go awry.
Nah, I’ve been around the wild, including my own exotic animal family, since I was a child. Hey, I used to fall off with buildings for a living and was a performer. Dealing with directors, producers and other performers is a lot braver.

Lol, yeah, I posted about it here a few times. I was a professional water skier, professional stunt person, circus artist and dancer. I think some of my pictures are here somewhere. I’ve had a huge life. All along while I was supporting my “entertainment habit” I was always working with animals. I even became a veterinary technician and worked with a lot of exotics- helping my sister who is the head Animal dietician at a well-known animal sanctuary, Rehab and restore facility. I would help her with animals that needed extra care. Siberian Tiger Cubs…et al 🥰
